The purpose of this build was to showcase the versatility of the wonderful Bassi Hog's Back frame, which is why decided on the 2x9 Sora build with a wide range cassette. With this build package, you've got yourself a nimble and comfortable commuter, a light tourer with a solid gear range, and a very capable gravel grinder with great clearance for wider tires. Not to mention the hot orange cable housing which adds +5 speed. The Salsa Cowchippers were my first choice of handlebar with mixed use riding in mind and they fit the bike perfectly. Tack on some nice Velo Orange features and a Bassi crankset for matchey matchey and the result is one great looking and smooth riding bicycle!
