Bikes, wheels, seats, handlebars, accessories ...
anything that's not locked down is getting ripped off.

Don't leave your bike unlocked.
Don't leave it outside overnight.
Take any quick-release parts with you.
Use 2 locks or 1 high quality lock.
Lock your bike to the main post of the city locking units, not to either side of the ring itself.
Keep the serial number with you.
Take a recent picture of your bike.
Register your bike with the police.
