The Bordo is a very different style of lock as it actually folds open like a chain but folds down to fit into your back pocket. Its multi-link design enables both a good sized opening and small packing/carrying size.  The mount bracket affixes with quick straps making it ideal for times when you need to use a lock quickly and don't want it permanently attached to your bike.
